'We have so many
exciting things to do at Wenlock, I want to try them all.'

Year 3 Pupil 2011

British Values

We had a lovely day on Friday, celebrating the forthcoming wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.

The children looked lovely in their red, white and blue colours (staff too).

We learnt about the importance of British Values and how this relates to us individually.

We learnt about the Royal family, Kings and Queens throughout history, traditional Christian weddings amongst other activities.

The weather was glorious for our whole school picnic lunch and it was great to be joined by the Kitchen staff.

We all had a fantastic day and enjoyed waving our Union Jacks around the field in preparation for the wedding and learning about British history and heritage.

Thank you to all Wenlock staff for making it a special day. Well done to Mrs Wilson, who supplied the bunting and flags.
