Wenlock v. St Martin

On Monday 14th March, our girls netball team played an exciting, fast paced game at home against St Martin De Porres Primary School.

The first quarter saw a 1-1 draw, with Nia scoring a fantastic goal near the end of the quarter to make us equal. In the second half, Wenlock took a 4-1 lead thanks to three skillful goals from Freya. Unfortunately for us, in the third quarter, St Martin De Porres pulled back to a 4-4 draw making for a tense final quarter. In an exciting end to the match, both sides scored a further two goals a piece, with Joanna taking control of two brilliant goals. We ended on a 6-6 tie. Well done to all of our fantastic girls who played a brilliant game of netball.
