On Tuesday 1st November, Year 4 had a fantastic day trip to Celtic Harmony in Hertford.
The children had the opportunity to experience life during Celtic times and participate in exciting activities such as 'The Quest' in which children went into the woods and solved riddles, translating rune symbols into messages. Children had the chance to sit in a roundhouse which housed a real open fire and learn about Warrior training! Children also became archers, Celtic face painters, traders, weavers and learning about herbs and plants used to make Wode!
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, for children and adults alike. The children's behaviour was exemplary and I am sure all the children agree, Celtic Harmony was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you to all the staff too.
