What a week it has been in Year 6! Well done to Groups 1 and 2 of Bikeability who worked really well learning how to ride their bikes safely on the roads. The children started the week by riding on the playground and impressed the trainers so well that some of them were out on the roads by Wednesday!
Groups 3 and 4 will be learning next week and will hopefully be just as successful!
The children have also been learning a lot more about our theme World War II. This week the children have made butter and written a great set of instructions for how to do this. There were mixed reviews when the children were given the chance to taste their butter on crackers.
They have also made Anderson shelters using a variety of materials and they look fantastic!
Well done to all of the children for your hard work this week. ☺
