Year 6 Remembrance Day

On Monday 13th November, Year 6 walked down to the Cenotaph in town. The children looked at the names of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I and World War II. In our English sessions, we have read and written Remembrance Poetry which we attached to the wreath we lay on the monument. To pay our respect to all of the soldiers who have lost their lives in all conflict throughout the world, we also had a minutes silence.
